The Elwood Fire Protection District is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.). All contractors and their sub-contractors shall pay prevailing rates of wages to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work for our District, and shall otherwise comply with the requirements of the Act.
