The mission of the Elwood Fire Protection District is to safeguard the citizens and visitors of our community by providing the highest level of service which includes fire suppression, hazardous materials operations, technical rescue, emergency medical services, fire prevention and public education services.
We make every effort to maintain a responsive and well-trained staff advocating for every citizen in their time of need with honor and courage.
These efforts are combined with a proficient and proactive fire prevention program to include public education, and code enforcement.
